UNIVERSITY EDUCATION AND LIFE’S LIMITLESS PATHWAYS PART 2
In the great junction of life, in what direction are you or will you be heading?
Firstly, congratulations on your GCSE and A levels results released recently, whether your grades can earn you a place at a uni or not. All you lot deserve to be congratulated and appreciated because you had all put in your very best, toiling day and night to get thus far. Therefore, whatever be the outcome of that endeavour now, be thankful still, and begin to think of an alternative possibility as your next line of action because you are all now at one of life’s many intricate junctions, full of many pathways/routes/roads/highways which will no doubt determine the direction that each one of you must face or head.
And if you look up wherefrom you are right now, that Great Junction of life – probably, the first junction in your life’s odyssey, you will see/find many of life’s highways figuratively speaking, whereupon are signs leading to life’s limitless pathways or roads of life such as:
- The education highway
- Apprenticeship/Skills/Vocational highway
- The Defence and Security highway
- Hospitality highway
- Environment highway
- Diplomacy highway
- Politics highway
- Construction highway
- Retail highway
- Fashion highway
- Health Care highway
- Teaching highway, etc, etc.
And each of you must choose very carefully on getting to that junction of life, ensuring you have with you the right sat nav, following and obeying the traffic lights to avoid crashing into an oncoming vehicle, waiting patiently for the go-light or the green light, pointing you to move in the right direction.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS
Life is a menu
The university or the education pathway with its many subways just as the others too, depending on which path you choose does have their own subways too, even sub-sub highways.
What all these pathways mean, inexhaustive as they seem, is that life is about options and choices and opportunities, nay a sort of menu list in life’s universal restaurant, very limitless in every sense of the word.
Thus, it is incorrect to say you haven’t got an option or a choice or the opportunity nor a head start in life as life is full of limitless options, choices and opportunities. And life is in fact, a menu!
Therefore, make hay while the sun shines.
