The accused: Man
The Tribunal: Court of Posterity
The Judge: Posterity
Man,
We charge you
Of raping Amazon
And disrobing her
Of her ancient canopies
And exposing her
To the vagaries of the weather.
Man,
You led multinational
Loggers to her
Secret chambers
And stripped her bare
Of her natural apparels
And left her in nude
To attract other eco-predators
Around the world
To satisfy their ungovernable lust
And afterwards plunder her treasures.
Man,
Look how you have
Deflowered our Amazon
The princess who once
Held the universal umbrella
Over the head of humanity.
And the price for this eco-lust is
A catastrophe of an
Unimaginable magnitude!
