“…. are there iniquities in our world?”
BY JOHN ODEY ADUMA
Topsy-turvy, scatteration –
Unnaturalness! Unnaturalness!
Accommodation, accommodation,
Tolerance, tolerance,
And every aberration tolerated
in the name of political correctness.
“Another gospel”, “another gospel”
The rich, richer and the “Least of These”
Impoverished by the day and overtaxed,
Whilst the rich bunkered themselves in non-dom and taxed less.
Truth for untruth in a world working with its head:
This is our world where nothing happens
at its time anymore – sun at night,
and moon in the day, stars in the day,
Meteors falling to earth wreaking havoc
And the sun, moon and stars hanging by a thread:
Melting ice caps in all Antarctica;
Sandstorms and swirling sand dunes;
Earthquakes, volcanoes;
And bushfires, smoky sky as of the time of the end
Enveloping all realms and climes
In all republics and kingdoms,
In all provinces and principalities,
and in all the nations of the world,
Hurricanes and flash floodings, landslides
Bolting from a region of hell
constituting themselves into a jury
sitting at the universal tribunal,
but spirituality buried in science
and explained away as climate change,
But are there iniquities in our world?
