Martin Luther King Jr: “I have a dream.”
Again, if I should tell you the truth, you are not here as a street person; you are not here as a drug addict; you are not here as a helpless person to always be pitied for and be fed with crumbs like a dog; you are not here in Britain as a murderer or as a blood sucking demon, always ready to pull the trigger to shoot and kill or to stab people to death at the slightest provocation.
Common, you are not a beast from the wild or the jungle without common sense, simple sense, conscience or human feelings, and remember that voice echoing from the excellent glory across the vista of time stills says to you today: THOU SHALL NOT KILL/MURDER (Exodus 20:13), because blood is precious to God, and the pain you seek to inflict on others on daily basis shall become your everlasting pain and guilt.
Now, listen! Get rid of that knife and gun right now! A warrior king like you does not need to carry a gun and a knife about to feel safe in the street.
You are not a nuisance, pest and the so-called ‘hard to reach’ or the ‘educationally sub-normal as this society has labelled you. “You are as good as anyone else,” Martin Luther King Jr’s mother once told young Martin when he was just aged five.
Now, give me your ears: you are not here as a planless person who can bring children to the world when yet just teen, pushing buggies all around town; you are not here as a nuisance to disturb your neighbours every time with your loud noise, music and nuisance tendencies; you are not here without a purpose, hollering always like a mob; you are not here as a drunk or an alcoholic; nor are you here to squander your time chit-chatting, gossiping and indulging in endless and unedifying conversations, for time is too precious to waste, hence you must therefore invest your time very wisely, moment by moment.
Still more, you are not here as someone without a proper upbringing; you are not here to hang around in the street, wasting your time and youth each day you wake up from sleep in the morning; you are not here to seek anyone’s attention by behaving weirdly or queerly always, and dressing irresponsibly, nor do you need anyone to validate your humanity.
What is more, you are already wonderfully and beautifully made by your Creator right from your mother’s womb (Psalm139:14).
Above all else, you are a king, queen, prince, and princess; and you came of a noble race which planted and nurtured the seed of civilization, and those who came of a royal and noble race like you, don’t go about seeking attention, and a person of great nobility like you never kills or behaves unruly, whether in the house or in public places.
